OpenWeightArchive is being built as a place to inspect records: model specifications, licenses, measurements and the evidence behind them. A record should stay useful after the announcement has passed.
Separate observation from interpretation
Future reporting will distinguish a publisher’s announcement from our observations and from independent reproduction. Source links, dates and corrections belong with the article, not in an invisible editorial process.
Access to weights is one fact about a model. What its license permits is another. The archive will record both rather than using “open” as a substitute for a license review.
Keep the first edition honest
The register now contains operator-verified DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017 measurements on two DGX Sparks. Styles01 and MiaAI kit are separate engine arms, not separate models. The classics suite remains partial; pending evaluations are not assigned scores.
